Peter Max 1994 World Cup Sculpture

*This is an extremely rare Peter Max Sculpture.  Peter Max was chosen to create the official poster for the 1994 FIFA World Cup. Adorned with vibrant colours - generating the pure emotion of a FIFA World Cup and unmistakeably a Max - the poster depicted a footballer thumping a ball into space. According to the artist, it symbolised the universal attraction of sport, while the pattern was simple and reduced the theme dealt with to its bare essentials.  He created this sculpture at the same time.  An incredible opportunity to own a major piece of Peter Max art.

Though cast in bronze, his forms appear to be magically suspended like angels on the wing. Tuan has received the Gloria Medal from the National Sculpture Society (New York), a medal designed by C. Paul Jennewein and bestowed upon a young artist in Jennewein’s memory for a meritorious body of work as determined by the luminary board of the Society. He has been exhibited throughout Southern California and has been commissioned for a number of public and private works, including a memorial bust for the Nicole Brown Simpson Charitable Foundation in 1997.

Jiang Tie Feng oriignal art

Born in 1938 - Chinese Artist Jiang Tie-Feng was born in 1938,in Ningbo, Zhejiiang Province, in China. Even as a child he displayed a great love and talent for painting and drawing, and early on he knew the course his life would take. Jiang's colors are of unsurpassed richness. A colorist, Jiang's intention was to reverse the trend of the stale Chinese tradition of painting in gray, black, and white. Jiang says: "Chinese art had reached a sick level due to its lack of color." Jiang's use of imagery. As noted above, Jiang Tie-Feng is a storyteller. His paintings are steeped in Buddhist and Chinese mythology. Each figure has a symbolic meaning. The paintings have so much complexity and visual fascination that the viewer is constantly seeing something new. Jiang says "For every picture there is a story, and for every story there is a picture." Jiang has continued to grow and expand. Probably because of his personal experience in two cultures he has increasingly seen the world as a single system, as a meeting place of diverse forces.

Zamy Steynovitz the artist

ZAMY STEYNOVITZ:  1951-2000 - Artist Zamy Steynovitz was born in Liegnitz, Poland and immigrated to Israel in 1957. The aspiration to be a painter Stemmed from his childhood, and prior to leaving Poland began his artistic activity in earnest. He established his place in the art world after exhibiting his work in one-man exhibitions and art fairs around the world. Zamy's art displays chromatic and thematic richness. His choice of subjects has been strongly influenced by Jewish tradition and folklore, displaying general themes: Paris, still-lifes, flowers, angels, circuses and landscapes.

M.L Snowden original sculptures have arrived.

M.L. Snowden is the sole living inheritor of select 19th century marble carving, finishing, casting and bronze patination techniques from the Paris studios of Auguste Rodin and Antonin Mercié. M.L. Snowden sculpted alongside her father for seventeen years as an apprentice and as a professional in Snowden Studios. In 1990, M.L. Snowden inherited a collection of 38 of the original sculpting tools from the Rodin Studios. Rodin’s tools were bequeathed to M.L. Snowden’s father by the Swiss sculptor, Robert Georges Eberhard, who was Chairman of the Yale School of Sculpture for almost fifty years and was a professional in Rodin’s studios in the latter part of the 19th century. Eberhard was a mentor to the sculptor’s father, George H. Snowden, N.A. (1901-1990); Who Was Who In American Art. G.H. Snowden was a sculpture educator at Yale University for many years and his extensive list of commissioned sculptures now constitute national historic landmarks. The Smithsonian Institution held a retrospective which featured Snowden sculpture, SCULPTURE IN THE FEDERAL TRIANGLE.  In the year 200 Snowden was commissioned to create the GREAT ANDGELS OF THE MAIN ALTAR fro the $200 Million dollar Los Angeles Cathedral.
